OVERVIEW

Step into the enchanting world of Costa Rica’s cloud forest, where mist-covered trees, vibrant vegetation, and remarkable wildlife create a truly unforgettable experience. Your journey begins in a charming open hummingbird garden, where these colorful birds perform dazzling aerial displays just steps away. Continue deeper into the forest as you cross a series of suspended bridges that offer spectacular panoramic views high above the forest floor. Surrounded by towering trees, cascading streams, and an incredible diversity of plant life, you will discover the unique ecosystem that makes the cloud forest one of Costa Rica’s most treasured natural environments. Along the way, your naturalist guide will reveal the secrets of this fascinating habitat, pointing out native birds, butterflies, small mammals, orchids, bromeliads, and other tropical species. After your walk, relax and enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch and a refreshing cup of "agua dulce" before returning to the pier, with time for a brief stop at a local souvenir shop.

• Dress in weather-appropriate clothing.
• Wear flat comfortable walking shoes.

Need to Know:

Note: This tour is not suggested for guests with walking problems or wheelchair users. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. The walk involves Up and down hill trails. There are approx. 90 stairs to manage during the walk. The hanging bridges cover over half a mile above the ground and that will give the most amazing bird eye’s view of the cloud forest. Each of these bridges stretch between 95 and 253 feet and up to 126 feet above the ground. Light Jacket, walking or hiking shoes recommended. Bring a hat, insect repellent, sunscreen, and rain poncho.
